Anaphylaxis UK is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Out of School Alliance (OOSA) — a leading membership organisation supporting providers of wraparound care and holiday clubs across the UK.
This collaboration will make it even easier for out-of-school providers to access high-quality allergy training through our AllergyWise® for Wraparound Care and Holiday Clubs course. Designed specifically for those running breakfast, after-school, and holiday clubs, the course helps staff gain the confidence and knowledge needed to keep children with allergies safe while in their care.
Through this new partnership, OOSA members will receive an exclusive 20% discount on our AllergyWise® Wraparound Care and Holiday Clubs course. The course provides practical guidance on allergy awareness, prevention, emergency response, and developing robust allergy management procedures – all tailored to the needs of settings offering out-of-school care.
The long-established Out of School Alliance is recognised as a “one-stop shop” for wraparound care providers, offering template policies and procedures, helpful step-by-step guides, advice and guidance, activity ideas and recommended suppliers. By partnering with OOSA, Anaphylaxis UK aims to support their mission of making life easier for those running out-of-school clubs while improving the experience of every child attending them.
Abby Wilkins, Chief Operations Officer at OOSA, said:
“OOSC staff play a vital role in keeping children safe, happy, and included. The work they do is vital, not just for families and communities, but for children’s safety and wellbeing every single day. Staff’s ability to act quickly and confidently in a medical emergency can quite literally save a child’s life. That is why awareness, training, and clear guidance are essential across the wraparound sector.
“Through our new partnership with Anaphylaxis UK, we are making it even easier for out-of-school providers to access high-quality allergy training. OOSA members will now receive an exclusive 20% discount on the AllergyWise® Wraparound Care and Holiday Clubs course. This partnership ensures that the wraparound sector has the tools, confidence, and knowledge they need to protect every child in their care.”
Tracey Dunn, Education and AllergyWise® Manager at Anaphylaxis UK, said:
“It is fantastic that Out of School Alliance understand the importance of ensuring that children with allergies are safeguarded whenever they are out of the home and are working with us to create equitable opportunities for children.”
Children with allergies should be able to participate fully in all aspects of out-of-school life, and this partnership will help clubs create safer, more inclusive environments for all.
OOSA members can find details of the course and access their discount via the Out of School Alliance website.
