AllergyWise®

AllergyWise® for Schools

This course for all school staff covers common causes of allergic reactions, symptoms of anaphylaxis, how to use adrenaline auto-injectors (EpiPen®, Emerade® and Jext®), and how to manage pupils with allergies in school, including responsibilities, risk assessment, Allergy Action Plans, allergy bullying, storage of adrenaline auto-injectors and practical scenarios.

AllergyWise® for Early Years Settings

This course for all early years providers covers common causes of allergic reactions, symptoms of anaphylaxis, how to use adrenaline auto-injectors (EpiPen®, Emerade® and Jext®), and how to manage children with allergies in early years settings, including allergen avoidance, responsibilities, risk assessment, Allergy Action Plans, storage of adrenaline auto-injectors and practical scenarios relevant to early years settings.

AllergyWise® for Out-of-School Settings

This course for organisations who provide out-of-school activities for children, covers common causes of allergic reactions, symptoms of anaphylaxis, how to use adrenaline auto-injectors (EpiPen®, Emerade® and Jext®), and how to manage children with allergies in out-of-school settings, including allergen avoidance, responsibilities, risk assessment, Allergy Action Plans, storage of adrenaline auto-injectors and practical scenarios relevant to out-of-school settings.  

AllergyWise® for Healthcare Professionals

This course is suitable for school nurses, health visitors and other healthcare professionals working in a community setting who have responsibility for training other staff working in schools, early years and other relevant environments which involve contact with people with serious allergies.

AllergyWise® for Careworkers

This course is suitable for people who are responsible for caring for others, whether adults or children, who may have serious allergy. The course includes modules explaining allergic reactions, early recognition of symptoms and crisis management. There is an emphasis on avoiding allergens and the need to be aware of the risks that might be posed by allergies in a caring setting.

AllergyWise® for Workplaces

This course for all staff in any workplace, covers common causes of allergic reactions, symptoms of anaphylaxis, how to use adrenaline auto-injectors (EpiPen®, Emerade® and Jext®), and how to manage allergies in the workplace, including allergen avoidance, employer responsibilities, employee responsibilities, risk assessment, Allergy Action Plans, storage of adrenaline auto-injectors and practical scenarios relevant to workplaces.

Understanding AllergyWise® User Enrolment in Course Dashboard

In this video, Hannah will guide you through the process of enrolling users in the course dashboard. She will show you how to access the account dashboard, navigate to the learning groups section, and enrol users in the course. She will also explain different enrolment options, such as adding users individually, uploading users via a CSV file, and sharing a shareable link.
