Ready to fundraise for Anaphylaxis UK?

The starting point is a great fundraising idea. If you haven’t yet found the “thing” that you want to do, here are some of our fundraisers’ favourites to inspire you:

If the above doesn’t take your fancy, download our ‘Fundraising at School’ poster for some more great ideas – there’s something suitable for all pupils!

Or, feel free to think outside the box and come up with your own school fundraising challenge. We’d love to hear your ideas! Think about what you all enjoy doing, how much you would like to raise, and how much time the school will be able to commit.

Remember, no matter what you decide to do, your wonderful efforts to raise much-needed funds and awareness to support those living with allergies is much appreciated.

Next steps

Once you have your fundraising idea and set a date, the next step is to…

  • Think about how to fundraise

A few options for you to consider:

    • You could use the reliable sponsorship form and pop in pupils’ schoolbags, along with a covering letter of your fundraising plans
    • How about setting up an online fundraising page, using a site like JustGiving, to ask parents/carers to donate and share the link with loved ones. You can also share the link in e-newsletters or in social media posts to promote your fundraiser. Here’s some tips about setting up a fundraising page
    • Collect the pounds and pennies at school, bank the final total into the school’s account, and then transfer the money to our bank account or send in a cheque of the same value
  • Ready, set, fundraise!

It’s time to start raising money and spreading the word. Here are some tips to help get you started:

    • Tell parents/carers of your fundraising plans as soon as possible via e-newsletters, social media channels, school portals, your PTA, LinkedIn. You never know, your local media may be interested to hear about your wonderful fundraising efforts, too! Keep us posted if you’re in talks with your local media
    • Check out our downloadable fundraising resources to help raise those pounds and pennies
    • If you are organising your own event for us, there are a few things to carefully consider and include in your planning to ensure that your event runs smoothly, safely, and legally. Make sure you have a read of our Keeping Fundraising Safe & Legal policy
    • Download our Fundraising Pack for more tips and guides on how to make your fundraising event enjoyable and a success!
  • #SocialMedia

Use social media to shout about your fundraising day (and remember to link to your online fundraising page, if you have one).

Remember to tag Anaphylaxis UK in any social media posts promoting your challenge! We can re-post to our followers – you never know, they may generously support you with a donation and inspire their own challenge.

  • Paying in your sponsorship money

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and commitment to raise vital funds for Anaphylaxis UK. There are a few ways you can pay in the money your school has raised:

    • Online: Pay in your fundraising money via our donation page. Don’t forget to add a note in the comments box about your school and event so we can keep an eye out for your funds
    • Bank Transfer: Please email finance@anaphylaxis.org.uk to request our bank details, so that the money you’ve worked so hard for can be safely transferred from your account to ours
    • Cheque: For any cash donations you receive, please bank the money into your school account and send a cheque made payable to ‘Anaphylaxis UK’, for the same amount, along with your school details. Send to: Anaphylaxis UK, 1 Alexandra Road, Farnborough, GU14 6BU
    • Fundraising Page: If you have set up a fundraising page with JustGiving, there’s nothing further you need to do. The money raised online will be transferred safely and directly to Anaphylaxis UK
