To coincide with World Immunology Day 2023, the British Society for Immunology is holding an event for the public called “Allergy : A misguided immune response in our lungs, skin or gut”.
This event will take place at 6pm – 7:30pm on Thursday 27 April 2023 and will bring together expert scientists and doctors to discuss the latest scientific thinking around allergies and potential new treatments that are being developed.
It will be hosted by broadcaster, author and psychology lecturer Claudia Hammond and the panel includes Dr Paul Turner, Professor Alexandra Santos, Professor Clare Lloyd and Professor Carsten Flohr.
Registration is free and is available either in person (at the Francis Crick Institute in London) or online. This event is held in partnership with the Francis Crick Institute, Nature Portfolio, and the British Society for Immunology.
