We have been alerted by Lidl GB that it is recalling its Baresa Pesto 190g (alla Genovese and Red) from sale because it may contain peanuts which are not correctly declared on the ingredient label.
The product is therefore unsuitable for and should be avoided by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to peanuts.
If you are already making an essential trip to a Lidl GB store you can return the item to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. Alternatively, please dispose of the product and email customer.services@lidl.co.uk including a photo of the affected product and Best Before Date. The Lidl Customer Services team will process this refund via letter.
Other Baresa products or Best Before Dates are not affected by this recall.
