We have been alerted by the Food Standards Agency that Hoffman’s Foods are recalling their Chopped Herring from sale because it contains egg and sulphites which is not correctly declared on the ingredients label.
The product is therefore unsuitable for and should be avoided by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or sulphites.
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or sulphites, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
