Mandy East, National Coordinator at the Anaphylaxis Campaign, gave evidence last week to the Children, Young People and Education Committee at the Welsh Assembly for the Additional Learning Needs Bill.
Giving evidence at the committee is important because the proposed Bill does not include health conditions. We, along with other health charities, are pushing for this to be included under a statutory duty as is in place in England.
