Allinson’s Serious White with Sourdough Bread: New Product Launch and Allergy Update

We have been notified by Allied Bakeries of their launch of their new Allinson’s Serious White with Sourdough Bread 550g (in Sainsbury’s, Asda, Co-Op, Spar and Ocado), available instore from 29th April 2019.
Allied Bakeries wishes to alert consumers to the fact that it has a very similar name and design to the current Allinson’s Serious White Bread 650g but has different allergen information. Please note that for a few weeks, both products will be on sale but on 29th May the original Allinson’s Serious White Bread 650g will delist and only Allinson’s Serious White with Sourdough Bread 550g will continue.
Allinson’s Serious White with Sourdough Bread 550g contains rye (gluten) so the packaging will include a ‘new recipe’ flash on pack and the new allergen will be highlighted in bold green font on back of pack in the ingredient list.
