Tanya Briess

In May 2021, Tanya’s 17 year old daughter, Alexandra, died from anaphylaxis during a routine operation and shattered the family. It is now their life’s work to help raise awareness, so no other family has to go through what Tanya and her family are dealing with. Running has become Tanya’s space to process her grief and allow time to think about Alexandra. We’re honoured and humbled that Tanya is running for Anaphylaxis UK. Good luck, Tanya.

Chris Soul

Chris is running for his two young daughters, who both have allergies, and for all the children with allergies in schools, too. A teacher and school leader by day, Chris is always trying to raise awareness with his pupils and improve processes in his school to care for and create a safe environment for the children with allergies. Thanks so much and good luck!

Sarah & Lizzie

A team effort from friends Sarah and Lizzie! This run is a personal one for Sarah, as her 8 year old daughter Darcey has multiple, serious food allergies and a risk of anaphylaxis. With the support of her running buddy by her side, Sarah and Lizzie are taking on the infamous 26.2 miles for Anaphylaxis UK. Thanks ladies and good luck!

Nico Evans

Nico knows from family experience the daily impact and challenges faced when living at risk of anaphylaxis. By running the London Marathon for Anaphylaxis UK, he is starting the conversation about serious allergies with the people around him and raising awareness of the charity to help more people on their own allergy journey access our services. Go Nico!

Paul Parry

Paul is dedicating his London Marathon 2024 run to his mum, after she suddenly died from anaphylactic shock in 2020. After years of hanging up his trainers, Paul rediscovered his love for the running bug aged 50. We’re so pleased that Paul will be joining our team and running his first London Marathon for Anaphylaxis UK and in loving memory of his mum. Thank you, Paul.

Dominic Campany

In 2017, Dominic lost his 20 year old brother Luke from anaphylaxis, which has left a big hole in the family’s lives. Since then, family and friends of Luke have generously fundraised for Anaphylaxis UK to honour his memory. We’re touched that Dominic is running for us once again – he proudly wore his Anaphylaxis UK running top for the virtual London Marathon in 2021, but now it’s the real deal on the streets of London…All the best, Dominic.

Gary Playfoot

Gary will be running the London Marathon 2024 for his close friend, Danny, who died in 2009 from anaphylaxis. His goal is to raise £2,600 – £100 per mile – for Anaphylaxis UK. Thanks for doing this for us, Gary!
