With beautiful, scenic routes, Run Bournemouth provides the perfect opportunity to escape from it all and run along the magnificent South Coast during a weekend festival of running.
Taking place over the 11/12 October 2025, there are 6 different events on offer over two days. From the Bournemouth Half Marathon and Supersonic 10K, to the Supernova 5K at dusk, and three junior events – there really is something for everyone.

Half Marathon
The course takes in both Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers, offering stunning ocean views and a vibrant seaside atmosphere. This really is running as it should be.
Supersonic 10k
A fantastic flat and fast course, great for setting a quick time, taking you along both Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers on this stunning coastal route.
Supernova 5k
This beautiful coastal route takes in the Bournemouth Pier and takes place at dusk with an emphasis on light around the route.
Junior 2k
The scenic route will start on Bournemouth Prom and finish near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens.
Junior 1.5k
This beautiful, coastal route will start on Bournemouth Prom and finish near the Run Bournemouth Hub in the Lower Gardens.
Kids’ Kilometre
Runners aged 3-6 will run in the Kids’ Kilometre which takes in the iconic Bournemouth Pier. Children taking part in this event must be accompanied by an adult (adults do not need to have an entry).
