Anaphylaxis UK announces that Simon Williams has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive to pursue other opportunities.

During his four years as CEO, Simon has led a dedicated and talented team, helping to shape the future of Anaphylaxis UK in innovative and forward-thinking ways. Under his stewardship, Anaphylaxis UK has expanded and enhanced its services, ensuring that more people affected by serious allergies receive the support and information they need.

We are grateful for his significant contributions which have positioned the charity for continued success. His commitment and vision have built a strong foundation on which Anaphylaxis UK will continue to grow. As we look ahead to our plans for 2026 and beyond, we are excited to continue building on this progress, with the support of everyone involved.

To ensure continuity of leadership, the Board has appointed Georgina Jones as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, while the search for a permanent successor is underway.

Dr. Alison Walker-Fraser, Chair of the Board commented:
“On behalf of the Trustees, staff, and supporters of Anaphylaxis UK, I would like to thank Simon for his dedication and stewardship over the past four years. We wish him every success in his future endeavours. We are confident that under Georgina’s interim leadership, the charity will continue to thrive and deliver for the allergy community.”
