Storck Knoppers, Knoppers Minis & Knoppers Nutbar – Change in Recipe and Allergen Labelling

We have been notified by Storck of a change to allergen information following a change in recipe. The recipe for Knoppers, Knoppers minis and Knoppers Nutbar will incorporate peanuts as an ingredient. To date, peanuts were not part of the recipe, but packs carried a precautionary allergen label as the presence of nuts could not be completely excluded.
Products made with the new recipe will have peanuts listed in bold in the ingredients list. In addition, the front of pack will contain a “new allergen information” flash as seen in the image below.
Both the new recipe products and previous recipe products will be available during a period of transition.
