Get involved

Join us from 1 – 7 October 2025 for a week dedicated to raising awareness about anaphylaxis and supporting those affected. If you’re able to raise some pounds and pennies along the way, it would mean a lot to us.

Invite school colleagues, pupils, parents and carers to do something special to mark this important week. Whatever you decide to do, we would love for you to get involved and our Fundraising Team will support you every step of the way to make sure your experience is enjoyable and a success!

Chat over a cuppa

Anaphylaxis Awareness Week 2025 is the perfect time to get the world talking about anaphylaxis and serious allergies. Put the kettle on and create a safe space to chat with a colleague in the staff room about your personal allergy journey or a loved one’s experience, or how you can make a difference in your school to keep your pupils living with a serious allergy safe in your care.

Chatting over a cuppa can help to calm the fear and worry that can come with living with allergies, dispel stigmas and misinformation, and come together to listen, talk and change lives.

Host an allergy-friendly cake sale

Hold an inclusive bake sale and encourage allergy-friendly treats to sell after school in the playground during Anaphylaxis Awareness Week (fingers crossed for some autumn sunshine!). Download our essential Big Bake pack with important information about labelling ingredients and allergens, how to make your sale allergy-friendly, delicious recipe ideas and useful resources to promote the event and decorate your stands.

Host an allergy awareness assembly

Dedicate a morning assembly during the week to talk all about allergies, the signs of anaphylaxis, what pupils can do to help, and the importance of kindness and understanding to classmates with a serious allergy. We have prepared KS1-2 and KS3 assembly presentations to suit your setting

Wear It Bright

Dress up in your brightest clothes and #WearItBright to share your support for a brighter future for people living with serious allergies.

Everyone loves a non-uniform day, plus it’s an easy and great way to raise money. Ask pupils and staff to donate a £1 to add to the fundraising pot. To pay in your monies, you can pay online or set up an event on your school payment system for donations to be collected and then send to Anaphylaxis UK.

The most important thing about Anaphylaxis Awareness Week is to get the word out there! That’s why sharing what you’re up to is so important.

We’d love as many of you as possible to show your support on social media throughout the week. Please be mindful that you will need permission from the parent or carer of any children shown in photos.

You can show support by:
