Researchers at the University of Southampton are inviting healthcare practitioners to take part in a research study to help prevent food allergy. This research is part of a doctorate project led by Karen Wright and funded by the Biomedical Research Centre at the University of Southampton.
Healthcare practitioners, who advise families during the introduction of solid foods, are invited to take part in a one-to-one online interview about a website being developed to support food allergy prevention.
This study will help to understand the choices parents make when they start to give their baby foods other than their usual milk feeds as well as understand how information can be provided to parents and caregivers about preventing food allergy.
By sharing your experiences of advising and supporting parents and caregivers, you will have the chance to influence how support and information is provided to healthcare professionals and parents in the future to help prevent food allergies in babies before they occur.
Please note, you can withdraw at any time without giving reason and without your participation rights being affected.
