Thank you for thinking about making a donation or fundraising in memory of a loved one or friend. We are honoured and touched that you have thought of Anaphylaxis UK. Your donation will make a real difference to supporting people living with serious allergies by offering evidence-based information for individuals and their families, for businesses, for schools and other places of education.

There are many ways that friends and family can come together to remember and commemorate a loved one. Whether you’d like to make a one-off gift or create a lasting tribute, there are lots of ways to support our work in memory of someone special.

Funeral collections

Holding a funeral collection in memory of a loved one and asking friends and family to contribute can be a wonderful and positive way to pay your respects. Coming together to donate to a cause that meant so much to your loved one can bring comfort and unity at this sad and difficult time.

If you are arranging a funeral or memorial service, and would like to collect donations for Anaphylaxis UK, please talk to your funeral director who may be able to organise the collection on your behalf. They may also recommend using an online collection platform for family and friends to donate in your loved one’s name.

If you are printing an order of service, please consider including our web address – anaphylaxis.org.uk/donate – for guests to make an online donation.

You are also welcome to get in touch with our Fundraising Team so they can support you, answer any questions you may have, and give advice on how to pay in your collection.

Donate in memory of a loved one

If you would like to make a one-off donation or set up a monthly gift to Anaphylaxis UK in memory of a loved one or friend, please visit our Donate Now page to make a secure debit or credit card donation. Please let us know in the ‘Add a note to your donation’ section that your donation has been made in memory of someone special.

In doing so, your generosity will help provide a brighter future for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. Thank you.

Fundraise in memory

Fundraising for Anaphylaxis UK can be a comforting and fulfilling way to raise money and celebrate the life of someone special. Whether you take part in an event through one of our charity spaces or a ballot place, or get together with loved ones to organise your own fundraiser or challenge, please let our Fundraising Team know and they will support you every step of the way to help make your event a success.

Feel free to peruse our challenge events calendar to see if anything takes your fancy. If you’re holding your own fundraising event, here are some ideas, resources and tips to make your day enjoyable and a huge success.

Create a tribute page

Many loved ones set up an online tribute page to celebrate the life of a special person and create a lasting tribute. It’s a place where friends and family can share memories and photos, leave messages of support, and donate to a charity close to their heart.
