The Anaphylaxis Campaign have identified that 16-24 year olds are a high risk group when it comes to managing their allergies, and this includes university students.
Students going to university are often, for the first time, managing their allergies on their own and face many challenges from living in shared accommodation, taking responsibility for their medication, to eating in restaurants and going on nights out.
Therefore, we have developed a booklet to help support allergic students which includes advice on preparing for university, information on eating out, our adult allergy action plan and general tips on managing their allergies throughout university.
