Richard Wright KC is a barrister who specialises in Criminal and Regulatory Law. He is the Head of Chambers at Park Square Barristers in Leeds, the Leader of the North Eastern Circuit and a Master of the Bench at the Middle Temple. His interest in the work of the Anaphylaxis UK began after he successfully prosecuted the first case of gross negligence manslaughter arising from the death of a restaurant customer who had a nut allergy (R v Zaman). He has also appeared in a number of cases brought by the Food Standards Agency and other government bodies.
