We have launched our Anaphylaxis UK AllergyWise® School award, to recognise and reward schools across the UK committed to raising whole school allergy awareness with staff and pupils!
Anaphylaxis, the most serious allergic reaction, usually begins within minutes and can be life-threatening. We encourage a whole school allergy awareness approach as this is the safest way to manage allergic pupils in school. The more staff and pupils who have an understanding of allergy and can recognise the signs of an allergic reaction, the safer all allergic pupils in school will be.
