In a survey of young people conducted by Serve Legal to mark the start of Allergy Awareness Week, data revealed that almost half of respondents living with an allergy feel that restaurants and food retailers need to do more for people with allergies.

Following the conclusion of the inquest into the death of Alexandra Briess, the coroner has issued a prevention of future deaths report. Prevention of future deaths reports are written when the coroner has heard evidence that further deaths might happen
