Developed for school nurses and healthcare professionals, AllergyWise online for healthcare professionals has been endorsed by the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI).
The Pre-school Learning Alliance has also approved the Anaphylaxis Campaign’s ‘AllergyWise for Healthcare Professionals On-Line Training’ as proof of satisfactory training in the use of adrenaline auto-injectors and recognition of the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis. Read more.

AllergyWise online includes some module quizzes and assessments and an RCN certificate will be issued to those who complete the course satisfactorily.
The online training is written by Sue Clarke, Nurse Advisor to the Anaphylaxis Campaign, who developed the original AllergyWise school nurse training programme. AllergyWise online is also recommended as a refresher for those who have previously undertaken anaphylaxis training.

We continually update the AllergyWise Healthcare Professionals course with new material as this becomes available. Therefore, we recommend that you update your AllergyWise training every two years. If you have already completed the AllergyWise for Healthcare Professionals course and would like to update your training, you can re-visit the course. We can renew your AllergyWise licence for a further two months at a cost of £12 (Inc. VAT) and this will enable you to review all of the course contents and download training and other course resources which may have been updated since you first completed the course. If you would like to do this please call during office hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm on 01252 546100.
Please note that accessing your old course will not entitle you to a new Royal College of Nursing certificate. If you would like to re-accredit your training you can re-purchase the AllergyWise course by going onto our shop. This will enable you to work through the course again, taking the module and course assessments which will enable you to re-qualify for the RCN accreditation. All resources are now on-line, so you will not need a new resource pack for this course.
