We’re excited to be participating in the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025!
Starting on #GivingTuesday, Tuesday 2 December, you will have seven days to donate to our campaign. Every donation made during this week will be automatically DOUBLED, as your donation will be generously matched by our Big Give Champion, Candis Club – Newhall Publishing Ltd, and Big Give Pledgers.

The worry of living with or caring for someone with serious allergies, may never fully go away… we know that. But what we also know is having access to the right information and support can help to calm the fear and worry that can come with living with allergies.
Having access to accurate, reliable information not only empowers people to feel more in control of their allergy journey, but it also helps to debunk some of the inaccurate information that is widely spread online, particularly on social media. Often with the best intentions, false information is shared which can cause unnecessary fear and panic.

Building on last year’s success, this year’s campaign – Calming the Hidden Battle with Allergies – aims to extend our service offering to provide reliable and accurate information and support to tackle the emotional impact of living with allergies. Here’s how you can help and double the difference…
A gift of £15 could provide a reassuring and informative call with our Helpline Team, offering trusted guidance, information and emotional support to 1 caller affected by serious allergies.
But during Big Give your £15 is doubled to £30 providing helpline support to 2 callers. Your donation supports our Helpline Team to make sure no call goes unanswered.
A gift of £50 contributes towards the development of our ‘Let’s Talk About Allergies’ podcast channel.
But during Big Give week your £50 is doubled to £100 helping us to create even more episodes to educate, support and foster a sense of community, helping those with allergies feel informed and less isolated.
A gift of £105 covers the cost of AllergyWise® training for 10 members of staff in an early years or school setting.
But during Big Give your £105 donation will be doubled to £210 meaning 20 members of early years or school staff can receive our trusted, CPD accredited online training.
Your donation towards providing AllergyWise® training for early years and school staff, not only enhances the safety and well-being of children with serious allergies, but it also goes some way towards easing the worry felt by their families.
A gift of £500 could go towards the cost of a volunteer-led support group for one year, to provide vital support for individuals and families living with serious allergies.
But during Big Give that £500 would be doubled to £1,000, helping us to develop 2 support groups helping even more people to connect, share and receive peer-led support to ease the emotional impact of living with serious allergies.

Big Give is a registered charity (1136547) that runs match funded campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to match funders (like philanthropists, foundations or corporates) and the public, Big Give helps them double their donations. And, in doing so, makes an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges.
It’s a simple idea – when the public donates to a charity through a Big Give campaign, it asks funders (philanthropists, foundations, government departments or corporates) to match that donation. So £50 from a member of the public becomes £100 for a good cause.
The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest match-funded campaign. For seven days (2-9 December 2025), the challenge offers supporters of participating charities (like Anaphylaxis UK) the opportunity to double their donations – and, in doing so, make an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest charities.
We aim to raise £15,000 from our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign – “Turning hidden allergy battles into bright futures” – with a focus on calming the hidden battles with allergies.
Donations must be made via our campaign page on the Big Give website and these will be doubled, while match funds last, from midday Tuesday 2 December until midday 9 December 2025.
All donations to participating charities are doubled in this match-funded campaign. “Pledger” funds are used to match online donations and, when these are exhausted, “Champion” funds are used to match subsequent online donations.
We are asking friends and supporters of Anaphylaxis UK to donate and raise £7,500 via our donation page to unlock the matching pot generously provided by our pledgers and Champion funder.
So, if we hit the £7,500 in online donations, this unlocks all of our matching pot and we will raise a grand total of £15,000!
Fingers crossed we reach our £15,000 target and unlock all of our match-funds. In the fortunate event that we do, we would still welcome donations (even though they won’t be doubled) to help us achieve much more to support people living with serious allergies.
The combined amount of pledges and Champion funds make up our match funding pot. We were thrilled to have secured £3,750 from generous supporters and friends of Anaphylaxis UK as our “Big Give Pledgers”, and delighted to have the support from Candis Club – Newhall Publishing Ltd, our “Big Give Champion”, who has promised £3,750.
Our total “matching pot” is £7,500. So, if we hit the £7,500 in online donations via our donation page, this unlocks all of our matching pot and we will raise a grand total of £15,000!
