Christmas is a time when people at risk of severe allergic reactions need to take extra special care. Food, sweets and even kisses under the mistletoe can be a risk factor. A webinar focusing on managing your and your family’s allergies during this season can be found here.
To help raise awareness and a few pounds to support our work, take a look at our festive fundraising ideas!
Christmas Jumper Party
Give your friends a break from the Christmas glam and invite them to a Christmas jumper party.
- As soon as they arrive (before seeing the other jumpers!) each guest can place a “bet” on whether their jumper will be the best
- During the party, everyone places their vote on the winning jumper
- The winner gets all the kudos and maybe a bottle of bubbly if the host is in the Christmas spirit and the amount raised is donated to the Anaphylaxis Campaign.
- Download the image to the right for use on your social media to invite friends and family
Christmas Themed Dress Down Day
Get your colleagues involved in fundraising and awareness raising for a cause close to your heart. Arrange a Christmas themed dress down day and request a small donation from each colleague.
It doesn’t have to be a jumper. What about a Christmas suit, a festive hat, a full-on Santa suit or those gorgeous Christmas socks you were gifted last year? Get creative and have a lot of fun for a great cause!
Christmas Hat Day
Maybe Christmas jumpers and socks aren’t your thing. We’ve got you covered with Christmas Hat Day! Grab a traditional Santa hat, an elf hat, even a turkey hat and get in the spirit! Great for workplaces where you need to wear a uniform and fun for schools too.
