About Anaphylaxis UK

We are Anaphylaxis UK (formerly Anaphylaxis Campaign prior to July 2022). We’ve been supporting people living with serious allergies as a charity for 30 years, offering evidence-based information for individuals and their families, for businesses and for schools and other places of education.

Most of what we offer is without charge and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to carry out our work.

Research we have been involved with

EAT Study

Findings from the London-based EAT Study have shown that giving certain allergenic foods to specific groups of babies at high risk of developing allergies, from as young as three months could reduce the likelihood of them developing an allergy to those foods.

Survey on the economic impact of peanut allergy

The study aimed to estimate the direct (out-of-pocket expenses such as medical or food expenses) and indirect (time lost or earnings lost) costs of peanut allergy in households with children between 4 and 11 years of age across Germany, France, and the United Kingdom (UK).

Exploring health-related quality of life burden in peanut allergy and the potential benefit of oral immunotherapy: estimation of health state utility values for patients and caregivers

The study entitled Exploring Health-Related Quality of Life Burden in Peanut Allergy and the Potential Benefit of Oral Immunotherapy: Estimation of Health State Utility Values for Children and Adolescents and Their Caregivers highlighted the detrimental impact living with a peanut allergy can have on both the person with the allergy and their parent or caregiver.
