We are aware that many people across the UK are experiencing issues when seeking to obtain adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs), despite having a prescription for these devices and appreciate that this can be very worrying.
EpiPen and EpiPen Junior will be subject to limited availability for the remainder of 2018.The revised Supply Disruption Alert has been sent to general practices, community pharmacies, acute trusts, community trusts, mental health trusts and ambulance trusts. The alert requests that GP practises identify registered patients (children) prescribed EpiPen Junior and make contact with their parents in the next five working days to alert on these national contingency arrangements.
