We have been alerted by the Food Standards Agency and Aunt Bessie’s that Aunt Bessie’s is recalling potato Croquettes from some Lidl stores in England as they may have been incorrectly packed with potato balls containing egg which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an egg allergy.
Only a small number of packs have been affected and there is nothing wrong with the food, providing the consumer does not have an egg allergy.
If you are allergic or intolerant to egg, do not consume this product. Instead call Aunt Bessie’s on the number below for a refund.
This is an isolated incident and no other Aunt Bessie’s products are affected by this recall.
