The third annual Anaphylaxis Campaign Orange Wig Day is fast approaching!
On Friday 17th May we want you to help us raise awareness of severe allergies by donning very stylish orange wigs for the day. We've had people wear them to work, children wore them to school, a group of supporters wore them to a busy restaurant someone even taught a martial arts class wearing her wig!
Get your organisation, friends or family to be a part of it too!
Where will you wear yours? The person who sends in a photo of the wackiest place wearing their wig will have their photo published in the next edition of our magazine Outlook.
Everyone who orders a wig will be sent a supporters’ pack containing;
- The wig!
- A poster which lets everyone know why you are wearing the wig! (which you can also download on the link below)
- A fundraising pot
Also available to download are;
- PDF copy of the poster for a group of wig wearers
- PDF copy of the poster for individual wig wearers
- Press release template for Orange Wig Day – send this to your local paper, and also ask them if they would like a picture of you too wearing your wig. If there is a group of you they may send a photographer out to take a pic! You will be helping us create great awareness for the Campaign.
If you need help contacting your local media, drop our press office an email and we will help you – email@example.com
