This is an extremely challenging day-walk, it is the toughest of all of the available Trekathons.
You will derive a great sense of achievement at what you have accomplished but probably not until the following morning!
Hadrian’s Wall originally ran from coast to coast and spanned 72 miles. Today we are left with only sections of this famous landmark, which cuts through the Northumberland National Park. Starting in Brocolita Fort we trek for 26 miles (42km) alongside the wall, admiring ancient monuments and beautiful scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
