Mark Foster has become Patron of The Anaphylaxis Campaign
Since Mark burst onto the International swimming scene, at the age of 17, representing England at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, he has gone on to represent his country more times and been decorated more than any other male swimmer.
Throughout his impressive three decade career he has won 47 international medals; been 4 times Olympian, 8 times Commonwealth champion, 10 times European champion, 8 times World record holder.
Out of the pool, Mark has become a familiar face on television, including appearances on ITV1’s ‘Beat the Stars’, Five’s ‘Superstars’ and most famously hitting the dance floor in last year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on BBC1.
 | Mark said: “I’m thrilled to be a patron for The Anaphylaxis Campaign. A friend of mine died of this terrible condition and I hope to be able to help raise the profile of this wonderful charity who help so many people with life-threatening allergies.” |
