We have been notified by Unilever of a labelling issue affecting Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie Low Fat Ice Cream 500ml in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The product does not declare the ingredient list in English and should therefore be avoided by anyone with an allergy to egg, milk, soya or gluten.

As a precautionary measure Unilever are withdrawing all packs currently on sale in stores in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and wish to communicate the English ingredient list to all possible consumers (please see below).

The Ingredients list for Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie Low Fat Ice Cream 500ml should read: Water, condensed skimmed milk, sugar, yoghurt, glucose-fructose syrup, cocoa powder, glucose syrup powder, free range egg yolks, wheat flour (contains gluten), butter, eggs, egg whites, soya flour, stabiliser (locust bean gum), salt, vanilla extract, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate).
