s Executive Director at East Hampshire and Havant Councils, and has worked in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
He has family members with severe allergies.
Brian Wookey, Vice Chair
Brian is a retired GP with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having held various posts within the NHS, most notably Chairman of the East Lincolnshire Primary care Trust.
Brian Wookey joined the Campaign board of Trustees to provide experience as a doctor in primary care, and more recently as chairman of an NHS Trust.
Tony Hines MBE, FIFST, MICPEM
Tony Hines is Head of Food Security and Crisis Management at Leatherhead Food International. Tony brings many years of experience in Allergens as food ingredients and knowledge of Membership based organisations to the Campaign.
Sarah Cooper
Sarah Cooper is an experienced family Barrister and a member of Thomas More Chambers. Sarah has a particular interest in international family litigation and specialises in Spanish and Latin American family law. She is a trained resolution family mediator and fluent Spanish speaker. Sarah is the parent of a child with severe allergies to foods and animals.

Rebecca Knibb
Dr Rebecca Knibb is a Chartered Psychologist and a Reader in Health Psychology at the University of Derby. Rebecca graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1999 with a PhD which investigated reasons why people self-diagnose food allergy and intolerance. Since then Rebecca's research on the impact of food allergy on the quality of people's lives has been disseminated internationally. Rebecca is involved with the Campaign and on the board of trustees to help raise awareness of the psychosocial impact of food allergy on children and their families
Ann Phillips
Ann is a charity lawyer, with Stone King LLP. She is the current Chairman of the Charity Law Association and was Vice Chair for 7 years, until 2005, of the Research Ethics Committee of Great Ormond Street. She has a son with severe allergies.
Karen Robertson
Karen Robertson is an experienced financial services marketing manager with a wide range of skills from strategic planning, special project activity and multi-disciplinary project management to marketing communications and leadership. She also has product development experience in Life Assurance. Karen has previously taught Marketing at Edinburgh University. She currently works as a Marketing Consultant.
She lives in Edinburgh and has a keen interest in allergies as she has a young son with a fish allergy. Given her background in marketing, Karen brings a range of experiences to the team.
Chris Finch, Treasurer
Chris has been involved in charity finance for about 25 years. For twenty years he was Head of Finance at The Biochemical Society, a learned society charity. Prior to that he was the Head of Finance at The Crafts Council. He is currently Treasurer of Breast Cancer Campaign.
He became interested in The Anaphylaxis Campaign through his wife, who has a nut allergy, and used the Campaign web site to find information—in fact, she became a member—and while on the site noticed that Campaign were looking for a Treasurer.
He feels that the Campaign is already doing a great job, and is very pleased to be given the opportunity to assist it as it develops over the next few years.
He is very interested in classical music- his wife, a scientist, and he met while they sang in the same choir- and he is also keen on hill walking.
