Video: Action for Anaphylaxis
Description:
People who care for allergic children - parents, teachers, school nurses and pre-school staff, for example - sometimes find information hard to come by. The Anaphylaxis Campaign has produced 'Action for Anaphylaxis' – a training video that meets this need. Particular attention has been paid to schools, but the video's messages will prove relevant wherever there are people with life-threatening allergies. The video covers the following topics: Revised information about treatment Clear instructions on administering adrenaline by injection A look inside a children’s clinic where a school nurse receives awareness training A mock-up of an “emergency” involving an allergic child at school An interview with John Warner, Professor of Child Health at Southampton General Hospital Case histories of allergic reactions
All videos and DVDs are PAL and region 2 format
