Best Before: 28 June 2017
It has been brought to our attention that Sainsbury’s is recalling their Raisin Milk Chocolate (200g bar) with a best before date of 28 June 2017, because it may contain hazelnut and almond which are not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnut and/or almond.
If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to hazelnut and/or almond, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where you bought it for a full refund.
We have been advised that no other products or date codes are affected by this issue.
The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. A copy of this notice is attached below:
Sainsbury’s apologises for the inconvenience this has caused.
We would like to thank Sainsbury’s for covering the cost of this alert.
